We continually monitor the implementation of the provisions of the German Corporate Governance Code. During the year, we dealt in particular with the revised version of the Code dated 14 June 2007.

On 11 March 2008, the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board issued an updated declaration of compliance with § 161 of the German Stock Corporation Law (AktG) and made it available to shareholders on a permanent basis on the company’s website (www.linde.com). Linde AG has complied with all the recommendations of the German Corporate Governance Code as amended on 14 June 2007.
