Group Financial Statements

Linde AG has prepared its Group financial statements at December 31, 2004 in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS (Glossary)). Some items in the balance sheet and income statement have been combined under one heading to improve the clarity of presentation. Such items are shown individually in the notes.
